If you are getting facials done, please do not wear heavy make up for your appointment. It is best to abstain from alcohol or caffeine on the day of treatment. These stimulants can worsen reactions to treatment. Please do not take any anti-inflammatory medication, such as Advil or ibuprofen, it is best to take Tylenol if needed. Your nurse will ask you for a list of your medications, medical history and previous treatment history, screening for any contraindication to treatments.
If this is your first time for laser treatment, your nurse will perform a spot test and will reassess the treated area after 24 hours for any reactions or contraindications.
Technician will follow up with you the day after the treatment offering support and advice as needed.
